HOSPITALITY DESIGN – THE WALL STREET HOTEL DEBUTS IN LOWER MANHATTAN
June 6, 2022

The Wall Street Hotel has debuted within the historic Tontine Building in New York’s Financial District. With architecture by Stonehill Taylor and interiors spearheaded by Rose Ink Workshop, the design was conceived to set a new standard for elegance in Lower Manhattan. “We had the unique opportunity to recharge this special location, while preserving the historic character of the original buildings we restored,” says Stonehill Taylor president Paul Taylor. “The Wall Street Hotel now serves as a welcoming destination for locals and global travelers drawn to the energy of New York’s iconic financial district.”
The 180-room urban retreat welcomes guests with interiors crafted akin to ritzy New York residences complete with a light-yet-saturated color palette that conveys warmth and tranquility. Rich velvet, marble floors, and hand-applied finishes span public spaces beneath soaring ceilings. “My goal is for visitors to feel like they are coming to their favorite pied-à-terre in New York and for locals to have a refuge to meet friends in the heart of the chaos of New York,” says Rose Ink founder and creative director Liubasha Rose.
An opulent lobby lounge, rooftop ballroom, and 24-hour fitness center serve as the property’s key amenities, and several F&B options are set to open onsite as well, including a signature restaurant designed by Charles & Co.
Ranging from spacious king rooms to luxe multi-bedroom suites, accommodations are characterized by plush furnishings, robust technology, curated libraries, handcrafted bar carts, and original artwork.
