FRONT + MAIN – RETRO GLAMOUR IS ALIVE AND WELL AT THIS PALM SPRINGS HOTEL

March 24, 2017

The Riviera Hotel in Palm Springs was established in the 1960s and has come to be as storied and legendary as its clientele—notable guests include the likes of Marilyn Monroe and Frank Sinatra. When multidisciplinary interior design firm Rose Ink Workshop was brought on to spearhead the hotel’s recent refresh, Creative Director Liubasha Rose knew that honoring the location’s history would be essential. Throughout the hotel’s main entertaining spaces—two bars, two restaurants, and a lobby lounge—Mid-Century-style furnishings and a technicolor palette of blush, aqua, and turquoise invoke the spirit of Palm Springs while referencing the space’s original Atomic-era heyday. Take a peek at this retro-chic space below!
